Description
The grass on this card was printed using strips trimmed off of wood type made by Virgin Wood Type. Once the type-high block of wood has had the letter or design cut into the surface, it is then trimmed to size. The thin strips trimmed off around the edges are sometimes a little rough, but are also type high, and sometimes have interesting uses!
The butterfly itself is made from a pair of curly brackets {}, a v-shaped ornament, and a couple of large wood corner ornaments. Note that neither of the corner ornaments is quite square to the card—it took some tricky typesetting to get the angles of the wings just right!
Printed on light blue 100% recycled speckletone cardstock. Comes with an orange envelope.
